Games And Sports:

" All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy . "

With occasional Badminton, cricket and Kabaddi matches, the school has taken utmost care to maintain the physical fitness of its students. Sports day and Rangoli competition also come under the annual activity plan of the school. Apart from outdoor games the school also has a good stock of indoor games like carom ,chess , Chinese checkers etc. These provide the children an opportunity to develop other skills apart from just academic excellence. The school has also extended Scouts and Guides activity for it's students.

Science Laboratory :

" What would happen if I were to add H Cl to heated food solution or if I place a prism before white light ? "

These and many more are the questions which students ask their teachers out of curiosity. Although the teacher may answer the questions well, but without actually doing it himself , the scientist in him may not be satisfied.. And so the school felt the need to let the children experiment on their own. Therefore it has provided its students with a well equipped science laboratory with all kinds of apparatus for different experiments. This facility is presently available to the students of the Boragaon Branch of the school only.

Library :

Leaving out the school texts and references, the school library has a good collection of books on fiction, science, litreature and many more such titles. Its here that a child can enrich his/her knowledge and is free for sometime to talk with books of his choice and thus has the opportunity to enlighten himself. This makes the child appreciate personalities about whom he reads or whose work he reads, thus possibly bringing in him a change which may now appear very simple but in due course would shape his future.

Educational Tour :

The school has been organizing educational tours for its students on and off. Recently a trip to Darjeeling and Gangtok has shown that all children and teachers have enjoyed it thoroughly and are looking forward to go on such tours with increased enthusiasm and numbers.

Literary Activities :

Activities like Debate, recitation and quiz competition have been organised in the school very often with an intention to improve oral skill of the students. Recently a wall magazine contest organised by the school was a big success and was a perfect beginning to such competitions which would now be held more frequently in the school.
